About Spark KL (Formerly Zouk KL)
Spark KL is the successor to Zouk KL, one of Southeast Asia's most recognised nightclub brands. The venue rebranded in November 2022 after reopening post-pandemic, but it occupies the same sprawling space within the TREC entertainment complex on Jalan Tun Razak. The club features 11 distinct rooms, each with its own sound system and genre focus, ranging from main-room EDM and commercial hits to hip-hop, R&B and deep house.
The multi-room format means you can switch between moods without leaving the venue. Cover charges range from RM50 to RM100 depending on the night and any guest DJs. The charge typically includes one or two complimentary drinks. Table and bottle service starts from a minimum spend of RM500. Smart casual dress code applies — no slippers, shorts or singlets. Spark KL is the club for anyone who wants the widest range of music and the biggest crowd in a single KL venue.
What to Order at Spark KL (Formerly Zouk KL)

★★★★★September 2026
Spark has successfully carried on the Zouk legacy at TREC. The main room sound system rivals any regional superclub. Caught a trance night with a guest DJ from the Netherlands and the RM80 cover was worth every sen. Three rooms offer house, hip-hop and open format.

★★★★☆August 2026
The multi-room setup is Spark's biggest strength. Spent most of the night in the house music room but ducked into the hip-hop room when we wanted a change. Cover was RM50 on Wednesday including one drink. Smart casual dress code, they turned away people in slippers.

★★★☆☆July 2026
Solid club but the RM100 Saturday cover is the highest at TREC. Bottle service starts at RM800. The production quality is excellent though - CO2 cannons, laser rigs, LED panels. The crowd gets very young on weekends. Wednesday and Thursday are better for a slightly older demographic.

★★★★★May 2026
Spark brings the best international DJs to KL. The lineup this month included acts from Tomorrowland and Ultra. The main room can hold around 1,000 people and still felt spacious. Arrived early on the guest list and skipped the 45-minute queue. Cover was RM70 with one drink.

★★★★☆April 2026
Best laser and lighting setup of any club in Malaysia. The bass in the main room shakes the floor. Their hip-hop room plays a good mix of old school and new releases. Parking at TREC is straightforward. RM60 cover on Thursday included a drink token.
