About Kenny Hills Bakers
Kenny Hills Bakers started as a neighbourhood bakery in the upscale Bukit Tunku residential area and has since expanded to multiple outlets including Bangsar, TTDI, The Exchange TRX and KL East Mall. The flagship Bukit Tunku outlet remains the most atmospheric, set among tree-lined streets with a covered terrace for outdoor seating.
The menu goes well beyond pastries. Wood-fired sourdough pizzas (from RM28), basmati nasi lemak, fish and chips, gourmet sandwiches and salads fill the savoury side, while the bakery counter displays pavlovas, tiramisu, strudels and their signature organic sourdough loaves. Coffee is well-made and consistent (RM12 for a latte). The cafe is a favourite for weekend family outings, so expect a wait between 9:30 am and 12 pm on Saturdays. Free parking is available in the small lot beside the shop. The nearest rail station is Segambut KTM, but most visitors arrive by car or Grab.

The wood-fired sourdough pizza at RM28 had a perfectly blistered crust and the toppings were generous. We sat on the covered terrace under the trees — one of the nicest outdoor dining spots in KL. The organic sourdough loaves are worth buying to take home.

Arrived at 10 am on Saturday and waited 25 minutes for a table — worth it. The pavlova was airy and perfectly balanced, and the latte at RM12 was consistently good. Free parking in the lot beside the shop is a bonus in this neighbourhood.

Brought the family for Sunday brunch. The kids loved the fish and chips while we shared a basmati nasi lemak and a strudel. The Bukit Tunku flagship has a relaxed, neighbourhood feel that makes the weekend wait bearable. Total was RM120 for four.

The tiramisu here is one of the best I have had in KL — rich, properly boozy and well-layered. The tree-lined street setting is beautiful. Segambut KTM is the nearest station but most people drive or Grab. Weekday mornings are blissfully quiet.

★★★★☆February 2026
Kenny Hills has expanded to TRX and other malls but the Bukit Tunku original is still the best. The gourmet sandwiches are substantial and the salads are fresh. Expect the bakery counter to be picked over by early afternoon on weekends — arrive before noon.
