About KLCC Park
KLCC Park is a 50-acre green space at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers, designed by Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. The park features a jogging track, a children's playground, a wading pool and a two-acre man-made lake with a central fountain that shoots water up to 42 metres high.
The Lake Symphony fountain show runs every evening with musical performances at 8 pm, 9 pm and 10 pm, and light-only shows at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm. The water playground is open from 10 am to 7:30 pm and includes changing rooms and lockers. Entry to the entire park is free. Sunset is a prime time to arrive: secure a spot by the lake before the first fountain show and photograph the Twin Towers as the sky turns orange behind them. The KLCC LRT station exits directly into the Suria KLCC mall, from where the park is a one-minute walk through the ground floor.

We arrived at sunset and watched the Petronas Towers light up while the Lake Symphony fountain show started at 8 pm. The water shoots up to 42 metres and the music sync is impressive. All free! The kids loved the wading pool earlier in the afternoon too.

Great 50-acre green space right at the base of the twin towers. The jogging track is well maintained and the park designed by Roberto Burle Marx has a very tropical, curated feel. Fountain shows at 8, 9 and 10 pm — we caught the 9 pm one and it was less crowded.

Best free attraction in KL. The fountain show with the towers as backdrop is genuinely spectacular. We sat by the western edge of the lake facing east and the reflection of the lit towers on the water was perfect for photos. KLCC LRT station exits right into the mall, one minute from the park.

★★★☆☆May 2026
The park itself is pleasant but gets very packed on weekend evenings before the fountain shows. Seating along the lake fills up 20 minutes before showtime. The children playground area closes at 7:30 pm which caught us off guard. Still worth it, just manage your timing.

Walked the whole park loop in about 40 minutes. The tropical landscaping is beautiful and the 2-acre man-made lake with the towers behind it makes for an iconic photo spot. Good option for families — the wading pool has changing rooms and lockers.
